The white spots are apparent as the product may have been heated in transport then restored back to normal ambient temp. This is like what happens to normal human chocolate when it is exposed to heat then restored back to ambient temperature, white spots form from the product being heated. There is no issue to the actual quality of the product or taste. The terminology of this is called ’Fat bloom‘ which happens when cocoa butter fats separate from the carob (in the case of our dog treats) or chocolate and recrystallises on the surface, often due to improper storage conditions/ transport heat. That is absolutely fine from a product perspective. As they are 100% natural, this is normal. :)
